السمات اللفظية في شعر عيسى جرابا: دراسة تحليلية

Abstract

Issa Jaraba, hailing from Jizan, is one of the prominent
contemporary Saudi Poets whose poems are widely spread in
Saudi Arabia. And to the best of my knowledge, no significant
research has been conducted on the linguistic structure of his
poems, especially from the viewpoint of word features.
Therefore, in this paper, I have focused on the word features of
his poems. Firstly, from the viewpoint of the sweetness of the
words, and secondly, from the viewpoint of vocal inspiration of
the words, I have conducted this study following the analytical
approach and finally found out some interesting findings. One of
the most important findings is that the words used in Iss Jarba’s
poetry are characterized by easiness as well as sweetness. It is
hoped that this study will help the researchers having special
interests in contemporary Saudi poetry to know about it.
