Abstract

Muhammad Hasan A‘wad is one of the great poets in
Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He is one of the pioneers of the
literary renaissance in Saudi Arabia. The poet `Awad was born in
the prominent city of Jeddah in Saudi Arabia in 1911 C.E. He
secured different types of knowledge in his primary and secondary
level. Then he started job in different fields. His prominent
contribution was the reformation of Saudi literature. The poet
`awad changes the literary trends in the poems as well as in the
stories. He followed the ancient literary trend of Arab worlds and
at the same time he didn’t forget the western world’s literary
movements. That is why his literary works have been dissimilar
with others. The poet died in 1989 C. E / 1410 hijri.
