Abstract

Two compounds were isolated from the dichloromethane crude extract of the stem barks from Aporosa roxburghii. Based on the spectral
evidence, their structures were determined to be friedelan-3-one (1) and - sitosterol (2) This is the first report of occurrence of these
compounds from A. roxburghii.
