Abstract

Three compounds were isolated from the carbon tetrachloride and n- hexane fractions of the dried leaves from Jatropha curcas
(Family: Euphorbiaceae). Based on the spectral evidence, their structures were determined to be β-sitosterol-3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside, 7-
keto  sitosterol and sitosterol.
